Gulf County Sheriff's Office asks for help identifying suspicious person

The Gulf County Sheriff's Office is asking for the community's help identifying a man who was caught on video under a carport of a property in St. Joe Beach early Wednesday morning.

"The Gulf County Sheriff's Office recieved a report this morning regarding a suspicious person in the 7000 block of Georgia Avenue on St. Joe Beach," read a release from the sheriff's office. 

"The complaintant discovered that an unknown white male was under their carport early this morning at approximately 12:26 a.m. Eastern Time."

According to the release, the subject is approximately 5'6" and medium build. He has a short receeting hairline and may be unshaven or have a thin beard.

In the surveilance video, he is wearing a light color shirt and dark shorts.
