CITY OF CARRABELLE PROPOSED ENACTMENT OF CITY ORDINANCE

The City Commission of the City of Carrabelle, Florida, proposes to enact the

following ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO: 484

ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARRABELLE, FLORIDA, EXTENDING THE EXISTENCE OF THE CITY OF CARRABELLE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY (CRA) AND RELATED PLAN FOR THIRTY (30) YEARS FROM FEBRUARY 1, 2022 THROUGH FEBRUARY 1, 2052, EXPANDING THE (CRA) ITS BOUNDARIES, AND ADOPTING A MODIFIED COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT PLAN, PURSUANT TO PART III OF CHAPTER 163, FLORIDA STATUTES; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

The proposed Ordinance may be inspected during regular hours at Carrabelle

City Hall between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., 1206 Hwy 98 E, Carrabelle, FL Monday through Friday, or call 850-697-2727.

The proposed Ordinance will be considered for enactment during a public hearing

to be held 6:00 p.m., Thursday September 2, 2021(first reading) and 4:30 p.m. Tuesday September 14, 2021(final reading) at the Carrabelle City Hall located at 1206 Hwy 98 E, Carrabelle, FL.

Interested parties may appear at the hearing and be heard with respect to the proposed Ordinance.

If an individual decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to this meeting, a verbatim transcript may be required. If so, the individual should make provision for a transcript to be made at the meeting, (RE: Florida Statute 286.0105). Pursuant to the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person requiring special accommodation to participate in this meeting is asked to advise the city at least 48 hours before the meeting by contacting Keisha Messer at the above address or phone number.
